Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae artists was born on Friday, February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album Like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts), How Does The Cap Go Remix and Sensimelia. Each of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the young generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani as well as Praswell who are members of the Fugees were joined in 1997 and recorded Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at Midem (international music festival) in the year it was held at Miami for the first time.
